We are in FMCG retail operating in brick and mortar. With an ever-evolving IT influenced business environment, we embarked on broadening delivery channels to keep up with the trends. We chose FATbit to partner with us in this endeavour.
FATbit Technologies has designed and developed a grocery delivery company’s site using its product Growcer. They integrated a contact form and a payment processing system into the platform.
We searched online for local and international web developers who could deliver on the various attributes. These included a 24/7 online service system, interactive customer care, customer relationship management, agile service delivery and a convenient grocery delivery App. We found FATbit (and its product Growcer) invaluable and competitive in all those areas and many more.
Goals and objective setting meetings were done, and a framework and scope of work were agreed upon. The team delivered program mock-ups for the site, the concept which the management approved. After various iterations, their team designed and developed the new site, incorporating a contact form and payment processing system.
A project manager was our main point of contact person throughout the process. There were also two backend developers and a designer, working behind the scenes.
After launching the site, we saw an increase in traffic and our sales within one week started to grow. The customers find the new design experience interactive right to the checkout point.
We had a regular meeting with their managers, who would communicate with the rest of the team. Performance issues were communicated to us in advance. We used Teams, WhatsApp and Google Meet in most instances for coordination; they worked well with our team.
They demonstrated extensive experience building an eCommerce website. They were also very patient to teach us, and were responsive to our needs.
We had interactive communication from the project’s onset despite operating from different time zones. We managed to execute our sessions by scheduling our stand-ups during our mornings and afternoons.
